Certificate Course on MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING

(Staff for Staff)

The response of the captioned training last year was overwhelming and with excellent feedback. The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong and University Health Service will jointly organize the Certificate Course on Mental Health First Aid Training (in Cantonese) again in July, 2011. This is a 12-hour course originally developed in Australia in year 2000.

It aims at preserving life, providing comfort, preventing deterioration and promoting recovery among people who are developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

Participants will acquire:

A formal internationally recognized certificate will be awarded to participants with full attendance.

Please take this opportunity to be trained as Mental Health First Aider. Grateful if you would complete and return the form by June 11, 2011. Confirmation email will be sent accordingly.
